Last year, right about this time, we got the phone call that changed our lives forever. We talked to Kapri for the first time and she told us she wanted us to parent the baby inside her. We also learned that the baby was a girl, and that we had to get on the next plane to Utah.
As Vivi's friends have been approaching a year old, a lot of moms said that they felt like they had just found out they were pregnant. For us, I guess we could say it feels like we just got our homestudy done. It's funny how we've only known about our daughter since about 13 hours before she was born, and our ho-hum lives turned into the whirlwind of parenthood. And we're loving every minute of it!
